I learned to cook alongside my mom and aunts, with my uncles teaching me how to make kabobs. Food was always tied to family, conversation, and sharing something you love.
I’m self-taught, and nearly a decade of restaurant ownership in New Orleans helped shape the way I cook today. Mediterranean flavors are a big influence, and I love finding inspiration in dishes from around the world.

Now based in Los Angeles, he brings that experience to MaliksBites, combining Mediterranean-inspired flavors, ideas from around the world, and the warm hospitality that shaped his cooking.
His favorite part is still gathering people around good food.
